Abuse of the Elderly & Disabled Exists!
While walking down the hall of the nursing home, where my Uncle lives, my nostrils detected conflicting aromas. One scent proved that I was hungrier than I had thought, the other odor was not at all pleasant. Yet, I recognized it immediately. It was the smell of human waste. Just as I was attempting to convince myself not to get upset, I overheard one woman screaming, and another patient crying. What surprised me, was the fact that I was the only one who reacted to the wrenching calls for help.
Later I learned that the woman who was screaming had been left sitting in a chair for twelve hours. Another of the residents volunteered the information that the attendants often left people in chairs to punish them for misbehaving. I would scream, too, if I were unable to help myself and no one cared while my family was spending thousands per month for my care. Vulnerable individuals who cannot take care of themselves are emotionally, financially, physically, and sexually abused every day in assisted living establishments, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes.

The institutions these vulnerable human beings depend on often use double or odd billing techniques to acquire extra income. These fraudulent billing practices are rarely caught because of the skillful use of medical codes, which explain each expensive service that may never have been used by the patient. Family members also tend to miss over billing practices due to these insurance codes. Or, if the family member should question the bill, they are placed under threat that if the bill is not paid in full, the disabled or elderly individual will be evicted.
If you are being abused, you need an Advocate!
Whether your situation involves a doctor, corporation, the legal system, a family member, institution, or mental health practitioner, etc., I help you, as your Advocate, reach the right sources to accomplish your goal of filing a complaint, charges, or need a legal decision amended. Often a victim may need an Advocate to fight for their life savings that may have been drained or is being stolen by an institution, family member, or scam. As your Advocate, I also help vulnerable individuals find needed protection, punish their abusers, or acquire restitution for injuries caused by a family member.
As an Advocate for the disabled and the elderly, I have helped to improve conditions for thousands in a major assisted living corporation. As a result of learning that the resident’s emergency calls were ignored, they were left in their feces for hours, stolen from, beaten, and raped; I caused the government to demand their clean-up. In addition, as a disabled and elderly patient Advocate, I have opened many doors for individuals to successfully file complaints and lawsuits. I have also helped many disabled or elderly people keep more of their life savings with my ability to catch fraudulent billing practices and scams.
Disabled and Elderly Human Beings Do Matter
Just because an individual is an elder or is disabled and unable to take care of themselves, does not mean that they deserve to be abused. As your Advocate, I become your voice when no one else cares to help.
We need to teach abusers that even the most vulnerable have rights.
Think of fighting for your rights this way, every time an abuser, corporation, institution, law enforcement, medical doctor, or mental health practitioner suffers punishment for abusive actions; we come that much closer to ending all forms of abuse. Criminal activity and abuse of innocent people multiplies if the cowards committing the acts know that only their victim suffers.
Let’s talk about a real problem; System Abuse Syndrome?
Those that suffer from System Abuse Syndrome find that they fear going anywhere, calling for help, or being alone, etc. Many system abuse victims have said that you become a bundle of mixed feelings and fear that builds into extreme anxiety.
Often System Abuse Syndrome victims, have panic attacks, become ill if they enter a courtroom, or see a police officer. Same is true for those who are abused by corporations and institutions, which explains why an Advocate becomes your best friend. Your Advocate knows how to turn abuse into positive action to achieve your goal while protecting you from additional victimization by becoming your voice in communicating your cause, goal, or necessity.

My Passion is helping people survive system abuse.
As your Advocate, I assist with writing and instrumenting all communications needed to accomplish filing a complaint or ensuring a successful lawsuit for victims of such crimes who live anywhere in the US.
Abuse has no likes, dislikes, or prejudices. No matter who you are, how old you are, where you live, how much money or education you have; abuse can become a part of your life.
I have lead campaigns on the public Activism level, which resulted in the convicting of attorneys who were a part of a legal staff of an attorney general’s office in Louisiana. Also, I lead a campaign with public officials to ensure housing for thousands after natural disasters.
Whether you are being abused by a corporation, institution, family member, a doctor, or the legal system, etc., I have 35+ years of working experience, a Ph.D. in Public Safety, and am a survivor of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse as a child and domestic violence and system abuse as an adult. Furthermore, I have been the caregiver for elderly family members who have suffered from different forms of personal mental illness and elder abuse.
For more information regarding how you can stop the system abuse you are going through, please feel free to contact me at any time.
I am looking forward to helping you end your suffering by fighting for your rights as your Advocate.
Very sincerely,
Sandra Speer, Ph.D., CLC, CDRC, Legal Advocate

It is my experience my Vulnerable Elder Mother, is a Victim of Isolation, negligence and Denied Due Process. Suffers from Alzheimers. Very sad, I feel like I have been suffering a death, for years. Due to Guardianship Oversight. 5 Court Orders to Enforce Visitation, 1 recused Judge. Affidavits from Limited Co Guardians of Property. No one held accoubtable. In my opinion this should of never had happened. I am her only daughter and next of kin. Florida Victim
Dear Marcia:
I do have experience with elder care facilities in Florida. Many of them are owned by International organizations, which have no care for the laws of the areas where they are located. The sad situation stems from the fact that accidents and deaths are easily written as being caused by natural causes. In addition, in Florida, the laws are not as caregiver friendly as caregivers need.
Please feel free to contact me at any time so we can meet during a free consultation to discuss your options.
Sincerely,
Dr. Sandra Speer, Ph.D., CLC, CDRC, Legal Advocate
